How man and nature can cohabit in harmony?

“Protecting nature means working on topics as diverse as reducing our footprint, governance, organised crime, peace, and security. The protection of our natural heritage is intimately linked to the great challenges facing humanity and is in the interest of every citizen of this planet”: that is the viewpoint that Ronald Biegs, WWF Belgium Chairman, and Antoine Lebrun, WWF Belgium DG  want to highlight in the 2016 WWF Belgium Annual Report.

The purpose is to demonstrate that the work of WWF delivers benefits for both man and nature and that both can cohabit in harmony.

The first pages of the Annual Report present the WWF-Belgium projects around the world. Each project is accompanied a ‘Sustainable Development Goals’.
These goals, numbering 17, have been set by the UN to call on the world to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace and prosperity for all human beings.

WWF-Belgium has signed the “Belgian SDG Charter for International Development” to adopt and achieve sustainable development objectives.
