"The new technologies promised to democratize the press and amplify our access to information, threatening the very survival of the newspaper. But instead they have demonstrated that quality journalism is more necessary than never, because it is the content, not the technology, that is the central nervous system of communications"

Seldia has organised the “Women Entrepreneurship EP Lunch Debate. The speakers were among other Mrs. Viviane Reding, Vice President of the EU Commission and Commissioner for Justice.

Seldia is the representative body for the direct selling sector in Europe, whose members include 27 European Direct Selling Associations, 22 of which in EU Member States. Seldia represents directly through its corporate members and indirectly through the national associations over 1,000 direct selling companies with annual sales in excess of 40 billion Euro and 12 million independent direct sellers.

Page in extremis has signed the refreshment — in 2011 — of the name and identity of the association and the review of  the design of all communication media including digital tools such as the website and E-Newsletters.

Here is an extract of an interview given by Seldia’s Executive Director Maurits Bruggink to the digital newspaper “The World of Direct Selling”:

“Would you like to share the process you have gone through so far?

The process of a name change is not so easy in an organization whose decision making is based on consensus. Fortunately, we agreed unanimously on the new name and visual identity. This was also due to the excellent work done by the graphic agency Page in extremis, that came up with a convincing proposition. This proposition was based upon a survey among members and a webinar with graphic propositions. The result is a brand name that is easy to pronounce in all languages, links immediately to direct selling and has an appeal to new generations due to its strong colourful logo.”

Page in extremis is a communication agency that helps create and develop each of your publications as an appendage of larger strategic communication plans.

The Communication agency builds brands and strengthens the reputation of leading corporations, institutions and associations.

Page in extremis is based in Brussels and has an expertise in institutional and corporate communication. The multidisciplinary team can help you define and translate the core-idea of your organisation into brilliant visual systems.

The Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism has developed a programme based on diversity.

The Centre is a public Belgian institution that aims to promote equal opportunities and that fights any type of exclusion, restriction or preferential treatment, on the basis of legally stipulated criteria.

The Centre reports regularly on the sectors that are most directly influenced by diversity: employment, housing and education.  Every two years, a barometer concerning one of these three sectors is published.

Page in extremis, a communication agency specialised in corporate and institutional communication, has defined the visual identity of the programme. A logo and a series of rules were created. A graphical chart compiles the main guidelines.

The successful branding process was followed in close collaboration with the Centre’s communication team.

The Brussels-based communication agency Page in extremis can help you establish a new branded programme or refresh your existing brand.
