The European Committee of the Regions’ new website is online. It aims to meet the needs of its audience better by providing information in a more efficient and user-friendly way.

Page in extremis, a corporate and institutional communication agency, created the design of the entire website.

Five sliding panes on the homepage give direct access to the main CoR website sections, in order to make decentralised communication more visible. The “Follow us” tab takes you straight to the CoR’s FlickR gallery, YouTube channel and eNewsletter subscription.

The new homepage gives more visibility to the CoR’s key activities, presidency and members, and to the network sites. It also provides direct access to a large range of subsections and site content through an extensive menu bar.

Great website design is the result of an analysis which is managed through a controlled process.

It is important to define wisely the communication strategy and the core ideas that subtend it. Design does not come from a magical illumination but from an intuition, through a rational guided exploration. Intuition is always present. But it is important to keep in mind the essentials messages of the project.

Page in extremis is a communication agency that has conceived web sites as major communication tools for international communication campaigns. We are a communication agency that can help you define an efficient strategy linked to the digital media. We develop corporate and institutional communication tools targeting your stakeholders.

"But we also need sessions dedicated to the creation of possibilities. A place where the imagination is allowed to roam free and generate a plethora of ideas, from which innovation can be born."

Even if there are many common principles that apply to corporate and institutional communication, there also are some major differences.

A communication agency which pretends to handle human-sensitive subjects should have developed real experience in that specific field.

In order to choose its communication agency, a humanitarian association should  focus on the general approach and the principles underlying the way it deals with the subject.

Page in extremis, a corporate and institutional communication agency based in Brussels, has great expertise in communication campaigns with humanitarian subjects such as AIDS treatment, parenthood, feminism, human rights, etc.
