From 26 to 28 May 2014,  ASECAP will hold its Study and Information Days in Athens.

ASECAP is the European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures, whose members’ networks today span more than 46.000 km of motorways, bridges and tunnels across 21 countries.

The 42nd annual ASECAP Study and Information Days will explore the role of the tolled roads in ensuring sustainability in times of dwindling traffic. It will be the occasion for high-level panellists representing toll road infrastructure operators, EU decision-makers and ministers to discuss sustainability issues related to infrastructure financing, operation, maintenance, safety and the environment, while considering how Intelligent Transport Systems contribute to the achievement of the goals set.

Since 2012, ASECAP has entrusted the development of its visual communication strategy and the production of its supports to Page in extremis, the communication agency specialized in corporate and institutional communication.

This collaboration includes the elaboration of digital and print communication media.

Located in Brussels, the communication agency Page in extremis has extended experience in the translation of specific communication needs into impactful communication tools.

"Much of the conversation about responsive images revolves around file size. While that’s an important consideration, it isn’t the only one. Sometimes, resizing an image for smaller screens can reduce its impact"

Page in extremis congratulates SELDIA for its 45th birthday.

SELDIA is the European direct selling association. In the first part of the 20th century, innovative products such as vacuum cleaners and washing machines were first marketed through direct selling as these revolutionary products required demonstration, and this was best achieved by direct sellers in the homes of potential customers.

Today at the beginning of the 21st century, direct selling is a dynamic, vibrant and growing sector of trade providing earning opportunities to millions of salespeople around Europe.

Page in extremis is proud to have contributed to this succesfull story with the refreshment — in 2011 — of the name and identity of the association and with the review of  the design of all communication media including digital tools such as the website and E-Newsletters.

Page in extremis is a communication agency specialised in corporate and institutional communication. The agency, located in Brussels has proven track records of rebranding and development of digital and print communication media. Discover their creations displayed on this blog.

AsecapDays.com has been released. This entirely new web site, based on a CMS system, was designed in respect of the current best practices such as :

- call-to-action buttons,

- “Read More” and “Continue Reading” links,

- “Responsive web design” (developing a web design in a manner that helps the layout change according to the user’s computer screen resolution).

"Interactive designer: Generally speaking, all designers are interactive designers since users work with an interface with the object they make. However, an interactive designer focuses on not only the user interface, but also the human computer interaction, and may have a strong background in heuristics or psychology and cognitive science."

— Jason Tselentis, trying to define the interactive designer in “The Graphic Designer’s Electronic-Media Manual”.

The European Cockpit Association, created in 1991, is the representative body of European pilots at a European Union level. It represents over 38,000 European pilots from the national pilot associations in 37 European states.

Page in extremis, a corporate and institutional communication agency, refreshed the visual identity of the association. The new website of the association was designed following the principles developed during the rebranding process.

The Brussels-based communication agency worked closely with the ECA’s communication team.

Page in extremis truly believes that nothing is done alone and wants to thank the ECA for the high quality of their inputs and the relevance of their insights during all the creative process and the development of their website.

Great work is the result of a creative dialogue developed within a mastered framework.

The European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association (TEPPFA) is the trade association representing plastic pipe systems manufacturers and national associations in Europe.

The association is actively involved in the promotion and acceptance of plastic pipe systems for all applications.

Its members want to raise awareness of the value that plastic pipe systems offer for a sustainable future.

Page in extremis, a corporate and institutional communication agency, helped Teppfa restructure the information architecture of the website. Then, the Brussels-based communication agency defined the website’s graphic design and developed the website itself.

The website provides factual and easily accessible information about plastic pipe systems, their value and use.

The European Committee of the Regions’ new website is online. It aims to meet the needs of its audience better by providing information in a more efficient and user-friendly way.

Page in extremis, a corporate and institutional communication agency, created the design of the entire website.

Five sliding panes on the homepage give direct access to the main CoR website sections, in order to make decentralised communication more visible. The “Follow us” tab takes you straight to the CoR’s FlickR gallery, YouTube channel and eNewsletter subscription.

The new homepage gives more visibility to the CoR’s key activities, presidency and members, and to the network sites. It also provides direct access to a large range of subsections and site content through an extensive menu bar.
