Seldia operates a turning point in its digital transformation!

In preparation for his 70th birthday, the European organisation representing the direct selling industry offers a reshaping of its presence on social media.

The renewal covers multiple digital channels: Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Facebook pages, Youtube,  Mailchimp.

This transformation is the opportunity to initiate a campaign that highlights the role Seldia played in helping to build the sector in particular through the setting up of the highest ethical standards in the framework of the European direct selling code of conduct.

The impact of this significant campaign will be strengthened in June by the revamping of the Seldia corporate website and the release of a new redesigned Annual Report. Both communication supports will be tailored to the new era of digital modernity.

The climax of the campaign will take effect the 16 & 17 October during the celebration of the 70th anniversary at the 7th European Direct Selling Conference in Brussels.

Seldia’s mission is to promote direct selling to the EU institutions and to ensure that the EU and national policymakers in Europe are aware of the industry’s benefits and advantages, as well as its contribution to national economies.

This new step towards the digital transformation of the European association is the result of an intimate dialogue associating the Belgian communication agency, Page in extremis with the Seldia’s management.

Page in extremis helps various European associations perform the digital transformation of their communication.

The communication agency, Page in extremis has defined a very accurate process including monitoring and quality check particularly suited to provide maximum comfort to its clients and the best results.

Eurochild: putting children at the heart of policymaking!

2017 saw two breakthroughs in the political rhetoric at EU level which can create a favourable environment for investing in children.

The first is the European Pillar of Social Rights which was proclaimed by leaders of the Council, Parliament and Commission
in November 2017. It sets 20 principles to drive social convergence upwards across the EU. Protecting children from poverty and promoting childcare is principle 11.

The second comes from the European Parliament. In a video address to the Eurochild joint event with UNICEF on Universal Children’s Day, President Tajani committed to organise an annual event in the Plenary together with children and carry out a stocktaking of the Parliament’s efforts to protect children’s rights.

“In 2018 we need to ensure these commitments don’t remain empty promises,” stated Norah Gibbons, Eurochild President and Jana Hainsworth, Eurochild Secretary-General in the 2017 Eurochild Annual Report.

Eurochild is a network of organisations working with and for children throughout Europe, striving for a society that respects the rights of children.
Eurochild influences policies, builds internal capacities, facilitates mutual learning and exchanges practice and research.
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is the foundation of all their work.

Eurochild has 165 members spanning 33 countries. 21 of these members are National Partner Networks, representing over 2,000 children’s rights organisations in total.

The communication agency, Page in extremis is proud to have participated in the creative development and the graphical production of the Annual Report.

In 2016, the employment industry generated €491 billion in revenue worldwide, mostly driven by agency work accounting for € 350 billion.
Agency work is growing in many markets in Europe with the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy and Spain all experiencing significant growth compared to the previous year and compensating for a slowdown in the UK.
Japan continues to experience accelerating growth in agency work (8% compared to 7% the year before) while growth in the US, the largest agency work market, remains stable.
The direct recruitment market rose slightly to € 37.8 billion, confirming its trend towards a more profitable and faster-growing HR service.

Published annually, the World Employment Confederation (WEC) Economic Report aims at giving a comprehensive picture of the employment industry and labour market trends in general.
It shows how the members of the World Employment Confederation act as labour market enablers, playing a key role in delivering work, adaptation, security and prosperity to societies.

The 2018 online edition of the World Employment Confederation’s Economic Report compiles robust facts and figures about the employment industry.

The Communication Agency, Page in extremis is proud to have contributed to the creative development and the graphical production of the online report. The result is a comprehensive digital publication made within an intimate creative dialogue framework involving the Belgian communication agency’s creative team, and the World Employment Confederation.

Page in extremis has defined a very accurate process including monitoring and quality check particularly suited to provide maximum comfort to its clients and the best results.

Happy Birthday, Child Focus!

Child Focus was born 20 years ago on March 31, 1998.
Over the past years, the foundation has handled no less than 67,913 cases including 21,360 fugues, 6,003 international parental abductions, 10,488 disappearances of unaccompanied foreign minors, 468 abductions by a known third and 55 abductions or attempts by an unknown third party.

In addition to the treatment of 23,767 reports of suspected child pornography, Child Focus intervened 1,380 times in cases of sexual exploitation of minors.

Today, the Belgian organisation remains vigorously active in the fight against disappearance and sexual exploitation in cooperation with the police, the judiciary and the welfare sector.

“The real challenge remains to eradicate the disappearances and the sexual exploitation in the world,” said Heidi De Pauw, Director-General for Child Focus. That explains why, in the years to come, Child Focus will focus more than ever on the prevention of these phenomena through prevention and awareness actions.

The communication agency Page in extremis wishes a happy anniversary to the Belgian association.

In 2006, Page in extremis had started to collaborate with Child Focus. During many years, the creative team developed various publications and annual reports in close collaboration with the Child Focus’ communication team, and in particular with two exceptional people, Maryse Rolland and Daniel Cornelis.

In 2012, the communication agency updated the visual identity of the association and defined with Dirk Depover, Chief Communication Officer, all the rules for using the various visual components of the Child Focus identity within the framework of a valuable and easy-to-use graphic chart.

Thus, we can say in a certain way that this long-term collaboration marked the DNA of the communication agency.
Page in extremis is very proud and honoured to had had the chance to contribute to a piece of the story of Child Focus.

Based in Brussels, the communication agency can help you define the essence of your brand and formulate its differences in a very positive relationship with its environment and all its stakeholders.
